Stewardship Success: A Practical Guide for Catholic Parishes

After more than two decades working with hundreds of Catholic parishes and dioceses across the country to develop stewardship, Eric and Lisa McArdle — co-founders of Catholic Stewardship Consultants along with Eric's dad, Deacon Don McArdle — share the story of their work with a new book. This brief read is designed to inspire pastors and parish leaders to take a leap of faith and begin their own stewardship journey. The book offers practical steps and best practices you can implement in your parish now and help stewardship begin to take root in the lives of your parishioners, transforming them into committed disciples of Christ.

This Book Will Transform Your Parish!

Stewardship experts Eric and Lisa McArdle are proud to announce the launch of their new book — Stewardship Success: A Practical Guide for Catholic Parishes.

After 23 years helping hundreds of Catholic parishes and dioceses across the country develop Stewardship as a Way of Life, Eric and Lisa share the story of their work with the hopes of inspiring even more Catholic pastors and parish leaders to take a leap of faith and begin their own stewardship journey.

With Stewardship Success, Eric and Lisa offer details on the very best of what they have learned over the last 23 years in their work as stewardship specialists. At the end of this brief read, you will understand the true meaning of stewardship, and, equally important, what stewardship is not. You will learn to avoid the pitfalls that can undermine your efforts as you introduce this way of life to your parish. You will be armed with the practical steps and best practices you can implement in your parish to help stewardship as a way of life begin to take root in the lives of your parishioners, transforming them into committed disciples of Christ.

It is our prayer that this book will allow many more people and parishes throughout the world to recognize the great blessing of living stewardship as a way of life. We also hope this book encourages bishops, priests, deacons, and lay leaders to more fully develop stewardship in their parishes.

As a former pastor I have been able to witness successful stewardship development in two different parishes thanks to the guidance and support of Eric and Lisa McArdle and Catholic Stewardship Consultants. I highly recommend this book for any pastor or parishioner who would like to grow a culture of stewardship in your church community.

Bishop for the Diocese of Colorado Springs; former pastor, Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Grand Island, Neb.
